Lily Poy

Lily Poy is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) at Iconic Wealth Management (IWM) in Alexandria, Virginia. With over 17 years of experience as a CFP®, she works collaboratively with clients to develop a comprehensive financial plan that helps them achieve their long-term goals. Lily maintains that knowing your own strengths and weaknesses enable you to better define your unique life style and circumstances.

Lily has worked in the financial industry for over 26 years. Prior to joining IWM, she held different positions at Ferris Baker Watts (now part of Royal Bank of Canada), Scottrade (now Charels Schwab), and Robert W. Baird. The experience gained from working as a stockbroker, research assistant, and portfolio trader in both full-service and discount brokerage firms has been most beneficial in helping people with different wants and needs. Lily has also volunteered as a certified tax preparer for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) with Fairfax County.

She received her B.A. from the University of Washington, Professional Accounting Certificate from the University of Virginia, and Financial Planning Certificate from Georgetown University. 

When she is not working and studying financial markets, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing the guitar, piano, and hiking.

Lily is also Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®).
